Mildred Cox, 99, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2019. Visitation will be on Friday, September 13, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. Miss Cox worked and retired as a Medical Records Specialist for the United States Veterans Administration. She was a life-long member of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. Although she had no children of her own, she was blessed with four nieces and many, many church children that she watched grow up through the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hattic Hiram Cox and Argie Bell Papizan Cox.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Aunt Mildred are her loving and devoted nieces, Ann Baker, Betty Kincaid, Mary Pannell, and Linda Cox; and her caregivers and friends, Janet and John Keldahl.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
