Michael Levi Westbrook's Obituary
Michael Levi Westbrook was twenty six years of age when he passed on December 21, 2016 in Jefferson County, Alabama after he suffered a heart attack. The funeral service visitation will be located at Serenity Funeral Home in Theodore, Alabama on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, and will begin at eleven in the morning. Chapel and graveside services to follow will be officiated by Chris Taylor. Levi was born in Mobile, Alabama on April 10, 1990 to Jason and Melinda Westbrook. He attended public schools in Mobile County as well as two and half years at Faith Academy for middle school. During that time he enjoyed paintball, ROTC and technology. He then went on to attend Auburn University where he majored in software engineering, and worked at multiple companies as a software and web developer. Levi became engaged on December 16, 2014 to Monika Johnson after their relocation to Birmingham, Alabama. He enjoyed travel; including trips to California, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and many other locations. He also enjoyed training and playing with his pets Charlotte, Jasper and Wesley.Levi is survived by his parents, Jason and Melinda, his grandparents James Moates, Mariam Moates, James Westbrook, and Katherine Westbrook, his fiancé Monika, his brother Dylan, his sister Caroline, his sister-in-law Elizabeth, his niece Ellie, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Levi was a kind and gentle soul.
