Maxine Watson Rolls' Obituary
Maxine Watson Rolls, 90, a native of Mobile and resident of Daphne, AL passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. She spent years taking care of children after retiring from AmSouth Bank and was devoted to Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was a Charter Member. Maxine enjoyed working in the church nursery and on various committees. "Meme" as she was known by her family is survived by two sisters, Amy Watson Tillman of Daphne and Jayne Watson Ruff of Sanga, CA; two sons, James T. Rolls Jr. of Brigham City, Utah and Harold Hallett Rolls of Mobile; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will take place at noon, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Pine Crest Cemetery followed by a memorial celebration for all her friends and family 1 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2921 Airport Blvd., Mobile, AL 36606. Memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church. Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
