Matilda J. Goodrum Wynant (September 01, 1948-January 23, 2014)Matilda J. Goodrum Wynant, age 65, a native of Bayou La Batre left this earth and went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 23, 2014. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Goodrum, mother Marion (Tee Tee) Goodrum and brother James Joseph Goodrum. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Claude (Frenchy) Wynant, two sons Marcel Lee Wynant (Paula Marie) and Kendall Duane Wynant (Leanna), five grandchildren Duane, Karolyn, Nicholas, Taylor and Easton. And also two brothers Douglas (Rita) and Randall (Mary Ellen) and a sister Bobbie (Ernie) Seward and a sister-in-law Abbey Goodrum and numerous relatives and friends.Funeral Services will be held at Gospel Way Baptist Church, 12395 Irvington Bayou La Batre Hwy on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 2pm with visitation for family starting at 12 and friends at 1 until service time.Pallbearers will be Kendall Wynant, Brandon Lee, Keith Adams, Vernon Wainwright, Darren Hill, and Bub Volk.Honorary Pallbearers are Dereck Hill, Wesley Sprinkle, Justin Wainwright, Joe Richardson, Joseph Goodrum Jr. and Greg Casey.Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery
