Life Legacy
WARNER ROBINS-Mary Howard Tucker, 90, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017. Visitation will be on Monday, May 15, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery immediately following the services. Mrs. Tucker was born in Ft. Valley to the late Leon Howard and the late Mamie Sullivan Howard. A lifelong resident of Middle Georgia, she graduated from Byron High School. Mary fell in love and married the love of her life, Harris Tucker. Mrs. Tucker worked in her home day after day, year after year, continuing to create a loving and nurturing environment for her children and their families. She loved to cook and was so happy to have a house full of her family to love on and feed as often as they could come. She also enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful flowers that made her yard and home pretty and made her smile. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, William Harris Tucker; one sister; and three brothers. Left to cherish the memories of "Granny" are her children, Howard Tucker (Peggy) of Warner Robins, Mike Tucker (Bobbie) of Macon, Donna Ward (Richard) of Kathleen, and Doris Rowe of Jacksonville, Florida; 9 grandchildren' 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
