WEST PALM BEACH, FL -Mary Weltmer Romozi, 87, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017, after a very brief illness. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to VITAS Hospice, 5912 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33484.Mary was born in Oberlin, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Pearl Conrad Weltmer. She moved to Perry, Georgia, in 1966 and began working as a Program Control Specialist in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mrs. Romozi moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2011 to be close to her daughters. She loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Carl Romozi, and her brothers, George Weltmer and Norman Weltmer.Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Romozi are her children, Rosalind Celentano (John) and Rose McDowell (Walter "Mac"), both of West Palm Beach, Florida; 4 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
