No Sweeter Friend one would hope to find..that sums up our precious Sharon...I will miss hearing from you, but you will always be in my mind and heart..You left a special mark on this world and all that were close to you knew they were loved...I send my prayers to all the family and your many friends who LOVED YOU SO! YOU SHINED BRIGHTLY HERE the way you lived your life for Christ, and I know you are safely there with HIM now, our newest Angel..
Four people have influenced my life for Jesus Christ in ways I cannot describe. They are Dr. Gerald Harris, Dr. Fred Wolfe, Dr. Johnny Hunt and Sharron Pope. Sharon represented every quality of Christian character and love. She took me into her home and loved me when no one else would. She concocted the most hilarious stories and left everyone in stitches. She sparked a fire in me for God that rages even to this day. She swallowed her last breath yesterday morning and ran smack dab into the arms of Jesus! Her effervescent zest for life and radiant, out there personality rendered even the most hardened soul speechless. Not even the tragic suffering and death of her sweet young boy could dissuade her from the joy of following Jesus. I will be there in Mobile to say a fond farewell to my dear friend. The parting is only temporary. The Bible states in Isaiah 40:8 (ASV) "8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God shall stand forever." See you soon sweet friend.
