PERRY-Mary Esther Page Beasley passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016, just one week prior to her 84th birthday. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Mrs. Beasley was born in Alamo, Georgia, and grew up in Vidalia. She married Kermit Beasley and they moved to Perry in 1959. Through the years, she worked at Colonial Grocery Store, The Coffee Cup, and Perry Hospital. Mrs. Beasley was a long-time member of Perry Church of God, and later became a member of Elko Baptist Church. A proud mother and grandmother, she loved going to church, listening to gospel music, and reading, but mostly she loved speding time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Genevieve Hartley Page; her husband, Kermit Beasley; and her sister, Elizabeth Lindsey.Survivors include her children, Lanae Beasley McGinnis (Ronnie), Diane Beasley, June Beasely Newton (Mike), Angela Beasley Whitehead (Brian), and Judi Foskey; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her brother, James Page; and several nieces and nephews.Messages for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
