Mary Lee Hemphill Rose's Obituary
PERRY-
Mary Lee Hemphill Rose, 63, passed away on June 15, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Free Point Church of God in Perry. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman, Georgia, immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry.
Mary was born in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Frederick Lunnie Hemphill, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth Murphy Hemphill. A homemaker, she lived most of her life in Douglas, Georgia, and moved to Perry in 2001. She was a member of Free Point Church of God. She was preceded in death by Audrey Elizabeth Dean and Floyd Hemphill.
Left to cherish the memories of Mary are her children, Kathleen Holton (Roy), Johnny Lane, and Rebecca Francis (Greg); her siblings, Freddy Hemphill, Laura Vazquez, Charles A. Rowe, Sr., Jackie L. Dean, and Joey W. Dean; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
