I knew Mrs. Mary all of my life. I grew up living behind her on Marshall Circle, and remember visiting with her often, as a child (I was Heather Davis, daughter of Isaac and Debbie Davis). She was such a sweet, loving lady. Praying for your family during this time.

I am Dave Schomer, retired caseworker of Family & Children Services in Houston County. Mary Ferguson was my supervisor for several years during the 1970s and 80s. I have many fond memories of her and our unit. She guided me through many difficult issues re my clients. As a unit, we went to her house for Christmas luncheons and parties as well as other unit meetings at her house. I just read the paper re her passing tonight (3/18/2015) so I obviously missed her funeral service, so I just wanted the family to know that my heart is heavy with her passing, but also filled with many good experiences.
