Marvin Dewey Lawson Sr., age 89, a longtime resident of Theodore, AL passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Viola M. Lawson, children, Marvin D. Lawson Jr., Deborah E. Werner, step children, Alice M. Hubert, Judy McClure, grandchildren, Megan Lawson, Ashley Hawkins, Nicole Winters, great grandchildren, Kaden Winters, Caleb Hawkins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11 am with visitation starting from 10 am until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
