Martha "Sue" Susan Pugh8/18/1945-3/30/2016Age 70, a native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and resident of Irvington, AL passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was an accomplished baton twirler and teacher. She toured with her sisters as a singing group and performed at the Grand Ole Opry and other venues in the early 60’s. Sue loved Alabama Football and Kentucky Basketball. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Haddock and Ruth Haddock Myers, stepfather, John Myers and stepmother, Cora Haddock. She is survived by her children, Michael Thompson and Kristen Lyon, father of children, Terry Thompson, grandchildren, Dillan Taylor, Brooklin Thompson and Brooke Lyon, sisters, Bonnie Tracy, Janice Allen and Tina Davis, nieces and nephews, Shari Adams, Stephen Shepherd, Richie Allen, Kelly Ahart and Billie Dawn Stokes, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 12 noon with visitation starting at 10 am until service time at noon. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
