MARTHA NELL NATIONS MONEY's Obituary
WARNER ROBINS, GA-
Martha Nell Nations Money, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Graveside Services will begin at 3:15 p.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Humane Society of Houston County, 810 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Centerville, GA 31028.
Martha was born on June 18, 1934, to the late John Madison and Ollie Cole Nations in Cartersville, Georgia. She grew up in a Christian home where her father was a Pentecostal preacher and lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to her family. Throughout her years, she loved going to yard sales and thrift stores, always looking for bargains. As she became older, she recognized the fact that many others enjoyed bargain-hunting, too, so Martha began passing those bargains to fellow “thrifters.” She owned and operated Advance Glove in Roberta and later thrift stores in Cartersville, Georgia, and Eufala, Alabama. Martha learned to pick antiques as well as the famous guys that she watched on television, which greatly delighted her. Her family was always at the center of her heart, and her home was a gathering place filled with love, laughter, and many shared memories.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Earl Money; and her siblings, Tommy Nations, Johnny Nations, Robert Nations, Betty Purvis and Mary Nations.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Martha are her children, Ricky Reece (Sherri) of Adairsville, GA, Sharon Irby of Greenwood, SC, Mike Reece (Cathy) of Perry, and Raymond Money II of Byron, GA; her siblings, Sue Nations Mitchell and Christine Nations Dokes (James); ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
