Marian Cazalas Rohmer's Obituary
Marian Cazalas Rohmer, age 89, a native of Mobile, Alabama passed away Friday, October 21, 2016. She was retired from Equifax Credit Bureau. She was also a member of a Mardi Gras Society where she perfectly portrayed ‘Strawberry Shortcake’. Marian was the drum majorette for the Bishop Toolen High School marching band from 1942 – 1945. She was preceded in death by daughter, Vickie Lynn Rohmer, father, William Philip Cazalas, mother, Edna Victoria Allen Cazalas, sister, Helen Cazalas Swinson, brothers, William Cazalas and Frank Cazalas. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Hilary A. Rohmer; daughters, Jeanne R Croom (Joe), Phyllis R Thrift (Jesse), Theresa R Pair (Jon), and son, Philip W Rohmer (Minerva). Also survived by sister, Dolores C Fearn (Paul), nieces, nephews, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral mass at St. Edmunds by the Sea will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Reception in the church hall following the mass.
