MARGARET PARTAIN's Obituary
PERRY –
Margaret Elizabeth (Loving) Partain, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, after an extended illness. Services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., followed by the Funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Cowles officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Margaret was born on May 3, 1940, in High Point, North Carolina, to the late Oliver McCoye Loving, Jr. and the late Sally Ann Wall Loving. Margaret devoted much of her life to her role as a mother and a homemaker, nurturing her family with love and dedication, always striving to create a supportive and encouraging environment for her family. Margaret found joy and peace in her hobbies, which included gardening, fishing, working on puzzles, and walking. She also enjoyed working at the Perry Wal-Mart where she kept busy after the unexpected loss of her husband. A long-time member of Friendship Baptist Church, her faith played a significant role in her life, offering her comfort and community. She loved her church family and enjoyed attending when she could, until her health would no longer allow it.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Bentley Lavan Partain; her son, Carl Partain; and her brothers.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Terry Partain (Ansley) of Perry, and Jeff Partain (Sherry) of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Bentley Ann Partain Lindsey, Brett Partain (Heather), Blake Partain (Jacey), Cody Carter (Katie Malone), Emily Partain, and Logan Felker (Maddie); her great-grandchildren, Madilynn, Olivia, Ellie Kate, Brantley, Bennett, and Sophia; and her niece, Ann Williams.
