Margaret Carolyn Kelso's Obituary
Margaret C. Heartsill Kelso, age 87, passed away peacefully Monday, February 16, 2015 at Lynwood Nursing Home in Mobile, Alabama. Born August 3, 1927, in Greenville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James R. Kelso, parents and 10 brothers and sisters. Margaret is survived by her children, Sandra Phillips, Ron (Gwen) Kelso, Rebekah Kelso, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sister, Frances Sanford Stokes, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. The death of a mother is the first sorrow wept without her. She will be sadly missed by all. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
