Lucile Hammock, 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19 at Henderson Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Perry Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home on Wednesday. Flowers are accepted or donations may be given the Henderson Baptist Church, 2813 US Hwy 41 South, Elko, Georgia 31005.
Mrs. Hammock was born in Pulaski County and spent most of her life in Perry. She was the daughter of the late Floyd E and Mattie Lee Wallace Johnson.
Mrs. Hammock was a devoted member of Henderson Baptist Church, loved her family, fishing and gardening at her beautiful home. For many years she was a realtor with Farm Bureau and Richardson-Free. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kelly Hammock, a son, Al Hammock, three brothers and four sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Becky Wood (Walton) of Kathleen, Nancy Hammock of Elko, and Carl Hammock of Henderson; grandchildren, Kellan Graham, William Rich, Danny Hammock, Phillip Hammock, Greg Hammock, Kelly Hammock, lll, several nieces and nephews.
