Prayers for Rick, my daughter in law, Kelly and my son Billy and our grandkids Reilly, Gwen, and Damien. It has been a great pleasure to share our grandchildren and become a bigger family. Lou loved my son and grandkids and was so good to them. I always asked what they did at Nanas and they always replied, we played rummy. They cherished the times they spent the night at Papa,'s and Nana's. Lou was so interested in helping them learn. She has been a blessing to our lives. May God bless this family and help them to cherish the memories of Lou! Love all of you!
Lou will be missed by so many she was always someone I loved to sit and chat with about anything she found humor in everything....we love and will miss u Lou.... Kelly & Gracie Germundsen
There aren't enough words to express my love for Mrs. G, and as she later asked me to call her, Lou. I spent so many nights at her house and so many Saturday mornings at her breakfast table as Kelly's childhood best friend. I will cherish those memories forever. The night before 4th grade she called my house to tell me that she liked the classroom very chilly so I should bring a jacket. She didn't know it but I had prayed that she would be my 4th grade teacher. I had no idea just what a huge part of my life she would truly become. I love you, Lou. Thank you for everything. See you up yonder. You're free. Rest in the arms of Jesus.
I met Mrs. Lou through my best friend, Whitney Hinton. I have many memories of playing cards, watching movies and just sitting and chatting with her. She was a wonderful woman and meant a lot to alot of people. 💜
Many years ago, I worked with Lou at Tucker Elementary School. She was also my daughter's fourth-grade teacher. I will never forget the time she found out the kids in her classroom did not know what it meant to play leapfrog. She decided right then and there, we were all going outside to learn how to play!! She had such a love for Patsy Cline. Before the year was over, the kids all knew the words to her songs and would sing along. Although Lou and I lost touch over the years, I will always fondly remember the time I spent with her. She was a kind, loving, and true friend. She cared deeply about others. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rick, Kelly, and her entire family.
Sincerely, Mark and Lorri Wills
