LOUISE KEZAR BEMBRY's Obituary
ELKO – Sarah Louise Kezar Bembry, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at her home. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary at Henderson Baptist Church, and the Funeral Service will be at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be in Elko Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Henderson Baptist Church, 2813 US Hwy 41, Elko, GA 31025. Mrs. Bembry was born in Elko to the late Hollis and Sarah Louise Hyde Kezar. A registered nurse, she graduated from the Nurse’s Training Program at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta in 1946. She worked at the Perry Health Department for 27 years. Mrs. Bembry was a long-time member of Henderson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Robert Burnette Bembry; her children, Tom Bembry, Julie Bembry Pinkston, and Robin Bembry; and her brothers, Hollis Kezar, Jr., and Francis Hadden. Left to cherish the memories of Louise are her daughter, Peggy Johnson of Elko; her daughter-in-law, Sandy Bembry of Elko; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Charles Kezar of Elko; and many nieces and nephews.
