Lois Kearley Thornton's Obituary
Lois Kearley Thornton of Coden, Alabama was born June 6, 1931 and raised in Beatrice Alabama, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Mrs. Thornton was retired from South Trust Bank in Mobile, AL. Born to the late Albert and Eula Kearley and was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara K. Clarke and Ercel Lassiter. She is survived by her husband, John E. Thornton, children, Michelle (Billy) Brenton, Sonja T. Vehorn, John A. Thornton, Sheryl P. Thornton and Susan T. Agresta, grandchildren, Tiffany Thornton, Traci Vehorn, Lindsay Vehorn, Blake Brenton, Hayden Brenton, Sarah Agresta, Collin Brenton, great grandson, Kameron Butler, sister, Flora McCarn, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special Thank You to caregivers, Oma, Robin, Lisa and Nurse Rochelle. Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 12 noon with visitation starting at 11 am until service time.
