LINDA HARVEY JOHNSON's Obituary
PERRY –
Linda Harvey Johnson, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2023. A private graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery in Jesup, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Linda was born in Jesup on June 4, 1947, to the late Uhland and Peggy Harvey, and was raised a Baptist. She was a majorette at Wayne County High School, from where she graduated in 1965. She worked for La Marick Beauty System and Regis Corporation, managed all of their locations across the Southeast, was promoted on multiple occasions, and was recognized for her many accomplishments throughout the years. In fact, Linda visited many locales across Europe and Asia with the company for over twenty years. This helped satisfy her love of travel. A wonderful wife and amazing mother, she will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
Linda leaves behind her husband of forty-five years, Ron Johnson of Perry; her children, Robert Aitkens (Ashley) of Miami, Florida, and Teresa Cloud (Eric) of Perry; her grandchildren, Sydney Aitkens, Ally Aitkens, and Veronica Cloud; and her brothers, Ward Harvey (Kate) and Huey Harvey, both of Jesup.
