LINDA HARRIS COOK's Obituary
PERRY –
Linda Sue Harris Cook, 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, after an extended illness. Family and Friends will gather for a private service at a later date.
Linda was born in Perry, Georgia, on January 25, 1953, to the late Wendell and Joan Pennington Harris. She was a graduate of Northside High School in Warner Robins. Through the years, she and her husband moved to and lived in Florida, Utah, and Texas, and moved back to Georgia in 2018 to be near family. Linda was a hard-working waitress and restaurant server who worked at several hotels, as well. She worked for a time as an advertising salesperson until her health would not allow her to work anymore. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Bobby Harris, Mike Harris, and Billy Harris; and her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Russ Cook.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Linda are her devoted brother, Ricky Harris (Rosa) of Haynesville; her aunt, Clyde Sinyard of Haynesville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
