Lester Ray Weaver's Obituary
Lester of Ray Weaver was born on December 28, 1942 in Andalusia, Alabama. He went to be with his daughter, Jenny in heaven on Sunday, October 9, 2016.He will forever be remembered for his unconditional love for his family and friends. Ray never met a stranger. When you saw Ray, you knew you would leave with a smile on your face, because he would always share a joke or two with you. His huge heart of gold and love of life will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Lester Weaver; his mother Zella Kendrick Weaver; his brother/best friend Donald Alex Weaver and his daughter Jennifer Lynn Weaver.He is survived by the love of his life whom he has been married to for 49 years Patricia Waters Weaver, his daughter whom he called "Pearl" Donna Weaver Gibbons (Jeff), his son whom he shared the love of Auburn Football with Donald "Ray Ray" Weaver (Andrea), his brother Gerald Wayne Weaver, his cousin Mavern Parker and his grand children he adored so dearly Bradley, Brinkley and Bo Weaver and Isabella and Gunner Gibbons.Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 2 pm with visitation from 12 noon until service time.In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to donate to the American Diabetes Association.
