I remember the time when I was riding with Pops, going house to house on a pest control route, I was driving (as always) and we were headed to the next house. It was a long drive and late in the afternoon. He had a toothpick in his mouth from lunch and it was just a going. Side to side, up and down and from one side of his mouth to the other. I looked to him to make sure I was going the right way and I noticed the toothpick wasn't moving. Pops had fallen asleep and pushed the toothpick between his teeth. I didn't want to wake him up so I just kept driving. He woke up and said, "Hanover, where are going?" I answered, "you were asleep and I didn't want wake you." He replied, "I wasn't asleep for heavens sake and you are wasting my gas!" I learned a lot from him and I have a lot of great memories. I will surely miss him and praying for Granny and the rest of the family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Our deepest condolences to the family. May you feel God’s presence as He reaches down to comfort and strengthen you during your time of loss.
I will always remember him from church while I was growing up. He was always there for anyone one that needed him. Loved this man like a father. He will be missed and always loved.

Pop was one of the kindest men we have known. He would stop me many times in the church hallway and say “I sure wish we would sing some of those old church songs we use to sing” and if one was ever played, you could hear Pop singing loud and proud. We were blessed to be in the church family with he and Sister Retha!! Karen & Frank D’Angelo
