Lennie Bell Freeman, age 93, a native of Tennessee and a longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014, at her daughter's (Shirley Freeman Wilson) home in Biloxi, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.Q. Freeman, parents, Robert and Willie Mae Bevis, children, Welton Freeman, James Arlis Freeman, Johnny Freeman, Marlene Cannon, Oscar Freeman, Clyde Freeman, Raymond Freeman, Floyd Freeman, siblings, Thelma Bevis Risner, Etoile Bevis Littrell, Louise Bevis Conner, Margie Bevis, Bernice Southernland, Robert Bevis, Jr., Lucy Bevis Cantrell. She is survived by her children, Alfred (Pat) Freeman, Shirley (Conny) Wilson, Carl (Sue) Freeman, daughter-in-law, Carolyn Freeman, sister, Barbara Davenport Jackson, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6 pm until 8 pm. Graveside service will be held at Knights of Pythias (K. P.) Cemetery in Russellville, AL, on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 11 am.
