Lena 'Janell' Culpepper's Obituary

Lena "Janell" Culpepper, 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Funeral Services will be on Friday, January 2, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Friday, January 2, 2015, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., the hour preceding the service, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.
Mrs. Culpepper was born in Telfair County to the late H.L. Baker and Edna Knight Havens. A hard worker throughout her life, she managed several convenient stores in Middle Georgia, the last one being EnMark in Macon. Although she had not attended in a while, Mrs. Culpepper was a member of Houston Lake Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed listening to and singing gospel music. She was preceded in death by husband, James C. Culpepper, and a brother, W.J. Baker.
Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Culpepper are her daughters, Sara Briscoe (Carl) and Donna Sasser, both of Ft. Valley; her siblings, Louise Brown of Eden, NC, Kay Jones (Rick) of Perry, and Leon Baker (Alma) of Jacksonville, FL; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
