Lawrence "Buddy" Glenn Harrell Jr.'s Obituary
Lawrence Glenn (Buddy) Harrell, Jr., age 67, passed away Fri. July 31, 2015. Buddy served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired member of The IBEW Local 505. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Glen Harrell, Sr., mother Hazel Pitts Thorne, son Danny Glenn Harrell, sister Anne Michelle (Mickey) Harrell Pommier, nephew Matthew Calbreth (Cal) Butler. He is survived by his loving wife Martha Jean Byars Harrell, daughter Malia Lee Harrell Jamison, step-daughter Merri Leah Byars Kightlinger, sisters Sandra Harrell Jordan and Glenda Harrell Rowe (Scott), stepmother Louise Harrell, stepsisters Sheila (David) Johnson, Marilyn (James) Butler, Rachelle (Matt) Tressler and Lanita (Eddie) Jones, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Wed., Aug. 5, 2015 from 1-2pm at Serenity Funeral Home. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2pm with Rev. Doug Bartlett officiating.
