LARSON HUNT's Obituary
KATHLEEN –
George Lawrence “Larson” Hunt, Jr., 33, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 5, 2021. A private Graveside Service will be held for the family in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Parker Agnew officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Phoenix Center Behavioral Health Services, 940 GA Hwy 96, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Larson was born in Macon and grew up in Butler and Kathleen. He lived in the house his great-grandfather built and where his grandfather was born. Larson enjoyed working in the yard “keeping the grounds of the old home place” just as they did all those years ago. He was a minimalist and enjoyed the simple things in life. Larson spent time watching movies and playing video games. He loved James Bond movies and was thrilled to receive the entire collection recently as a Christmas gift. He loved music, including music of the 1960’s, and classic rock and roll. His faithful and devoted father was his strength and endurance every day.
Survivors include his father, Larry Hunt of Perry; his mother, Darla Hunt of Reynolds; his sisters, Jennifer Powell (Don) of Perry, Ashley Basset (Will) of Midland, and Lauren Robinson (Eddie) of Daphne, Alabama; three nieces; two nephews; his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Doorman (Terry) of Macon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Larson was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Anne Hunt; and his maternal grandfather, Gene Whitley.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
