I graduated in 1969 along with Larry and 160 other fun loving friends. We could be serious when we needed to be but we all loved to cut up and have good, clean fun. We had a senior follies that year as a fund-raiser. Don't remember what we did with the money but that didn't really matter. Several of us did a skit where we played strippers. I was about as ugly a stripper as you have ever seen but we had a blast doing it. At the end of our song and dance we had to go into the audience and find an elderly man to kiss on the cheek. Larry pointed out his grandfather to me in the audience and asked me to kiss his left cheek but to hold his right arm because he would be reaching for a knife Well. I did as asked and his grandfather did as he predicted. I grabbed his right hand and told him that Larry loved him. His grandfather started laughing and at the end of the show, us 3 sat and laughed half the night away. That's the way Larry was. Good, clean fun. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Til we meet again. He and his grandfather are probably laughing again.
