Lance Allen Moore, II, 27, passed away on March 10, 2015, after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident while vacationing in Australia. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Read Obituary

Chris, I cannot express how sorry I am at the loss of your son. He was our farrier for nearly three years. He was always there for Connie and I, as we struggled to take care of seven horses while dealing with several health and injury issues. Please let us know what we can do for you.
While I didn't know Lance as well as I would have liked to what I did know of him was the great friend and man he had become. He was always willing to help others. I never knew him to be anything but positive and enjoying life and making the most of any situation. His smile,laughter and just goodwill toward everyone is just inspiring to me. I never got to witness him in his Wasteland mode ,but I did in his Stormtrooper mode and it was always a wonderful time for everyone involved. You are definitely missed Lance even though I know one day we all will meet again. Rest in peace my friend.
Only meeting him the one year at WW, I will remember that he was always such a thoughtful, caring person to those around him. May his kindness live on in our hearts forever.
I never had the pleasure of meeting this young man. In reading the obit's listing of the things important to his life, I can see why my daughter Jessica, admired this new friend in her life. She'd met him at Wasteland Weekend, and shared photos of him in character. Since I am a 'costume mom', all my kids' friends are my 'kids' too. My deepest sympathies to his mom, fiancee, family and friends.
I had the privilege of meeting Lance for a short time. He was a mate who instantly filled a space you didn't know existed. He offered sage words of wisdom which I shall take to heart. Rest easy son.
I am so grateful I got to know Lance. You couldn't help but be happy when he was around. I'll miss him around the campfire. It won't be the same without his big smile and laughter. And while I don't understand why God called him home now, I do know that I'll see him again. As a Christian it's hard to be truly sad at death when we know it means Lance is in paradise and one day we'll join him. But until that day, the memories of him will bring me happy tears and a deep sense of how blessed I was that God saw fit to bring him into my life.His kindness is what I'll remember the most. And the best way I can honor him is to share that loving kindness with everyone God brings into my life.I'll see you again one day Lance. Keep the campfire burning for me and we'll dance around it once more
The loss of lance spreads far over , as he touched soo many hearts.As a costume wearing character he has given out dreams, smiles, and hope to soo many, and thats just to those that called him family!.... he did even more for any child that saw there "hero" , and yet never saw him as lance was only seen as what charater ever portrayed to that child!.... and there smiles are the only payment ever needed apon that! Thank you Lance for your time in this world, for your smiles, and for your strength. I will always cherish the laughs we had, your smile, your words of wisdom, your witticisms, your unconditional love that you had for all that knew you. Most of all, I will miss your passionate for life and how you bent it at your will! I thank Gpd for crossing into my life path! Every time I see a cast iron skillet, I will remember you. Every time I have chicken nuggets, I will remember you. Every time I see a Storm Trooper, I will remember you. Every time I'm with our tribe, I will remember you!
