KYLE McCURDY's Obituary
Kyle David McCurdy, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Visitation will be on Monday, November 5, 2018, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, and in his memory, please make donations to the family to help with final expenses, P.O. Box 52, Perry, GA 31069. Kyle was a lifelong resident of Houston County. He graduated from Perry High School in 1987. He received 4 different certifications in Welding from various trade schools in Middle Georgia and was really one of the best welders around. A true country boy, Kyle loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Mike McCurdy, and his brother, Chip McCurdy. Survivors include his fiancée, Milisa Lemire of Ft. Valley; his parents, Jesse and Hazel Brown McCurdy of Perry; his children, James Baker (Kimberly) of Ft. Valley, Heather Minix (Austin) of Roberta, Katelyn McCurdy of Lizella, and Rebecca McCurdy of Ft. Valley; three grandchildren; his twin sister, Kim Bills (Rick) of West Point; his brother, Mark McCurdy (Dawn) of Ft. Valley; and his faithful four-legged friend, his dog, Buddy.
