Kenneth 'Granddad' W Davidson's Obituary
FT. VALLEY -
Kenneth Wendell Davidson, 83, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be in Bonaire City Cemetery immediately following the service. The visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015, from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or memorial contributions may be made to The Westfield School, 2005 U.S. Hwy 41, Perry, GA 31069, or Perry High School FFA, 1307 North Avenue, Perry, GA 31069, or to the donor's favorite charity.
Mr. Davidson was born in Oaky Woods to the late Ruel and Eddie Mae Stubbs Davidson. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Crisis. He was a 1959 graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology. While at Tech, he was a member of the Veterans Club and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr. Davidson worked with Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as a Mechanical Engineer and retired after 37 years of service. His greatest passions were farming, fishing, and spending time with his family. Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Gary Keith Davidson; and his siblings, Jamed Edward Davidson, Earl Davidson, Margie Thompson, and Robert Davidson.
Left to cherish the memories of "Granddad" are his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Bettina Epps Davidson; his daughters, Beverly Puckett (Henry), Marion Bard (John), and Deena Walton (Todd); his grandchildren, Brian Puckett (Courtenay), Jackie Bard, John Edward Bard, Will Walton, Ben Walton, and McKinley Walton; his great-grandchildren, Harper and Jonathan Puckett; his brother, Dennis Davidson; and many nieces and nephews.
