Life Legacy
Kenneth Dale Lamberth, 51, was received into Heaven on Friday, May 19, 2017. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Second Memorial Baptist Church. Visitation will be also held at the church one hour prior to the services, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be in the Freedom Mausoleum in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Reverend William Hurst and Dr. Victor Lyons will officiate. Kenneth, better known as Ken or Kenny, was born March 12, 1966 to John Edward and Evelyn Passmore Lamberth. He attended school in Perry and was a graduate of Rabun Gap Nacoochee School. He also graduated from Georgia Southwestern Technical College. Ken was Co-Owner and Manager of Forty-One Grocery in Perry, in partnership with his parents, and had served their customers and the community his entire life. He was a member of Second Memorial Baptist Church. Kenny had a special bond with his parents, children, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was very respectful of everyone he came in contact with and knew. He had an unprecedented love for all animals and their care, nursing many back to health through the years. Kenny was very much loved by his family, his extended family, and his many friends who will all miss him dearly. Awaiting Kenny in Heaven were his sister, Sheila Denise Lamberth; his paternal grandparents, Curtis and Lena Grace Lamberth; his maternal grandparents, John Thomas and Mamie Passmore; and a number of aunts and uncles who all preceded him in death.Kenny lives on in the hearts of his parents, John Edward and Evelyn Passmore Lamberth; his sons, Ethan Dale Lamberth (Angela) and Gage Jonah Lamberth; his grandchildren, Ariana and Christoper Hutchens; and his special cousins, Amy Rice and her children, Nathaniel and Jordan Rice.Visitors will be accepted at the home of John Ed and Evelyn Lamberth.
