Kelly Lawrence Shaw's Obituary
Kelly Lawrence Shaw, 46, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018, after an extended illness. Services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018; the visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, GA. Burial will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257. Kelly was born in Albany, GA, and grew up in Perry, graduating from Perry High School with the Class of 1991. While living in Middle Georgia, she worked at Mid-State RV in Byron. Kelly worked at First Coast Roofing as a bookkeeper in Jacksonville, FL, where she has lived for the past 14 years. She was very artistic, and enjoyed painting and drawing. Kelly loved the beach and spent a great deal of time there. She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Lawrence, and her brother, Bill Jones. Left to cherish the memories of Kelly are her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, Chris Shaw of Jacksonville, FL; her sons, Tanner Shaw of Ft. Rucker, AL, and Lawson Shaw of Jacksonville, FL; her mother, Marie Lawrence of Perry; her siblings, Debbie Jones, Dan Jones (Misty), John Calvin Jones, Kevin Lawrence, and Kim Phillips (Jerry); and many nieces and nephews.
