Baker. A lifelong resident of Perry, she was an accountant and bookkeeper. She worked in the Business Office at Perry Hospital for a number of years, and later worked for McNair, McLemore, and Middlebrooks accounting firm. Kay owned and operated Kay's Fast Tax for years, and More Than Mail, also. Although she enjoyed her work and dedicated time to her customers and clients, Kay's passion in life was her family; being a wife, "Mama," and "Nanny" were her focus. She loved spending time with each and every one of them, whether at home or their special place at the beach. Walking on the beach was one of Kay's favorite things to do. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, W.J. Baker; and a sister, Janelle Culpepper. Left to cherish the memories of Kay are Rick Ketterbaugh of Perry, with whom she shared her life for 24 years; her children, Richard Jones (Rita) of Perry, Michael Jones of Byron, and Stephanie Drennan (Cory) of McCormick, SC; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 step-children, Pam Elliott and Rick Ketterbaugh, Jr.; 6 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Brown of Eden, NC; a brother, Leon Baker (Alma) of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces and nephews; the father of her children, Grady Jones, Jr.; and her precious and loyal dog, "Sassy."Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
