Katherine "Kitty" Obelivea Lumpkin's Obituary
Katherine " Kitty" Lumpkin, passed away in Daphne, Al. on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at the age of 100 years and 11 months. She was born in Meridian Mississippi in 1916, but was a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL. She was also a longtime member of the Eastern Star, Chamber of Commerce in Tillman's Corner, First Baptist Church Tillman's Corner and Polka Dots Mardi Gras Association. She was also known to many as the owner of Lumpkin's Mobile Home Ranch. She is survived by her daughter Linda Carlen, her granddaughter Kathleen Carlen-Magnone and her Husband Dr. Mario Magnone as well as by one great granddaughter, Isabella Magnone. Ms. Lumpkin was one of 10 children. She had many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2 pm with Dr. Mac Morris officiating. Visitation starting from 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
