Karrie Nadine Hirsch Warrell, 68, passed away on June 28 at her residence, with her loving family by her side, after a two year battle with cancer. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2 at Watson - Hunt Funeral Home from 6 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, Heart of Georgia Hospice in Warner Robins, or The Salvation Army in Warner Robins. .
Further services and interment will take place on Saturday, July 6 at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont, Kansas. Downing and Lahey Mortuary in Wichita, Kansas will be in charge.
Karrie was born May 25, 1945 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Martin Hirsch and Erma H. Rutherford Hirsch. Karrie lived in Kathleen, Georgia for 30 years. Karrie is survived by her husband of 46 1/2 years, Gerald V. Warrell of Kathleen. She is also survived by a daughter, JaNette L. Warrell of Marshallville, a daughter, Toniese A. Warrell Craft (David) of Fayetteville, Georgia, a son, Steven V. Warrell of Forsyth, Georgia. Karrie also had seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a retired administration clerk with the US Air Force Services Directorate at RAFB. Karrie loved to cook, enjoy her grandchildren and life in general. She also loved to camp and travel in her motorhome.
