Karen Gordon Griffin's Obituary
Karen Gordon Griffin, 69, passed away on July 2, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Warner Robins. The family will visit with friends on Monday, July 6, 2015, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m., preceding the service, at Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will be on Friday, July 10, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Faith Lutheran Church, Building Fund, 301 Pleasant Hill Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093 or Central Georgia Cancer Care, 114 Sutherlin Drive, C-1, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Griffin had been a resident of Perry since 1996. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Warner Robins and the American Legion Auxiliary. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at the Perry Hospital for over 10 years. Mrs. Griffin enjoyed her time working at Carlton Interiors/Impressions by Carlton in downtown Perry for many years. She deeply touched the lives of everyone she met and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Griffin are her beloved husband of 47 years, Joseph Griffin; her daughter, Cora Dillin (Jim); her son, Eric Griffin; her grandsons, Colin Griffin, Russell Dillin, and Andrew Dillin; her brother John Gordon (Darlene); her special sister, Cindy Mittag (Bob); and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
