Judy was born in Byron to the late Robert and Florence Akins Heard and attended Perry High School. She met and married the love of her life, Rony Morales, and the couple lived in Perry. She owned and operated Unique Boutique, where she focused on selling the latest trends in clothes and fashion. In 1993, they moved to Missouri for his work. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play ice hockey up north and baseball in high school and college. Judy loved God and her family. She was a simple lady who was happy just to get dressed up and go shopping anytime or anywhere with family and friends.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Judy are her husband, Rony Morales of Perry; her daughter, Sonya Franklin of Perry; her grandchildren, Ryan Franklin, Kyle Franklin, and Jeremy Franklin; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Sonny Heard, Robert Heard, Jr., and Amelia Heard Peavy; and a great-nephew, Dylan Akers.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
