Dr. Judith Cason Wilson's Obituary
Dr. Judith Cason Wilson passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Julian Page Wilson and Norma Cason Wilson Cheek and was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Warren and Ellen Cason of Vienna, paternal grandparents Walter and Mae Wilson of Perry and a nephew Warren Julian Wilson of Bogart. She graduated from Perry High School in 1967, The University of Georgia in 1972 and later received her PhD from The Union Institute and University.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, March 21st at the chapel of Watson Hunt Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Perry Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a brother Sonny Wilson and wife Kris of Bogart, nieces Becky Powell and husband Keith of Perry and Manda Wilson of Bogart, great nieces Anna Wilson of Bogart and Claire Powell of Perry, aunt Lois Wooten of Savannah and special friends and caregivers Annette Bailey and Zelphia Ann Dark of Siler City, NC. and numerous cousins.
