ORLANDO, FL-Juanita B. Martyny, CPA, 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Florida Hospital East in Orlando, Florida. Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.Juanita was born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, on March 18, 1922, daughter of the late Maggie Mae Boggs and the late William Delbert Boggs. She held the position of Statistician for Union Carbide as part of the Manhattan Project during The Second World War. She was an accountant and CPA most of her career working for Penn-Aire Aviation and Tax and Accounting Software Corp and as an independent CPA. After retirement, she moved to Perry, Georgia, to be with her daughter, and later moved to Orlando, Florida, to be near her son. Juanita was predeceased by her sister, Belva Mae Casada; her brother, John Sherman Boggs; and her husband, Emile Martyny. She is survived by her daughter Dolores "Tryphena" Bixler; her son, Donald William Martyny; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
