Juanita Van Cleave Amberg's Obituary
Juanita Van Cleave Amberg, 88, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Summerhill Nursing Home after an extended illness. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Hubbard Family Cemetery in Hickman, Kentucky. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman, Kentucky.
Mrs. Amberg was the daughter of the late Charles and Nell Van Cleave. She grew up in Union City, Tennessee. She met and married the love of her life, Charles Amberg, to whom she was married 58 years before his passing in 1999. Always a homemaker, she and her husband enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, and traveling. They enjoyed visiting their children and grandchildren all over the southeast, as well as going on cruises. Mrs. Amberg was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Amberg; and her brothers, Ralph Van Cleave, Charles Van Cleave, and Bobby Van Cleave.
Left to cherish the memories of her are her children, Judy Vianey (Paul) of Perry, Linda Beaman (Ray) of Sebring, Florida, Charles B. "Mickey" Amberg (Barbara) of Perry, and Barbara Parker (Bill) of Bessemer, Alabama; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
