JOYCE GRIFFITH's Obituary
PERRY –
Joyce Carol Klippel Griffith, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Inurnment will take place in Niskayuna, New York, in the spring.
Joyce was born on July 28, 1931, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Carl Julius Klippel and the late Edna Anna Van Wormer Klippel. She earned a degree from Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, New York. Joyce was a Medical Technologist by trade but was always a homemaker at heart. She continuously worked to create a loving and encouraging environment in which to raise her family. In her spare time and more often after retirement, Joyce developed a talent of training dogs and taught canine obedience school. After moving to Perry, Georgia, in 2005, she became a member of Perry Methodist Church where she was also a member of the IHS Sunday School Class.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank E. Klippel.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Joyce are her loving and devoted husband, Leonard O. Griffith of Perry; her children, Andrew C. Griffith (Ann) of Broadalbin, New York, Karl P. Griffith (Debra) of Balston Lake, New York, Holly E. Carr (Robert) of Torrington, Connecticut, and Candace J. Griffith of Perry; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
