Joyce LaShae Goodson's Obituary
Shae Baby as she was lovingly called by many family members and friends went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2014. Shae touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She had a beautiful smile, that would brighten a room, that will be missed dearly.Shae was born May 13, 1980 in Mobile, AL and was a lifelong resident of Irvington. She was a homemaker.Shae enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She and her husband, Earl, were known for their "get togethers". Seeing others happy brought her great joy. Shae will be thought of as the daughter, sister, neice, cousin and friend who would help anyone in any way. She loved all children and all children loved her. Shae is survived by her mother and step-father Joyce and Glenn McPherson, Irvington; her father and step-mother, George and Paula South, Mobile; maternal grandfather, Ronald Dunnam, Irvington; three sisters, Lynn and Brandon Eicholtz, Mobile, Nikki and Ronnie, Irvington, Sarah Lightsey, Mobile; two brothers, Glenn "Bubba" and Tori McPherson and Justin and Rebecca McPherson of Irvington; three nieces, Adilynn and Natalie and Jaydance, Irvington, two stepsons, Michael William Goodson, Mobile and Vincent Earl Goodson, Mobile; one step-daughter, Angel and James Greer, Birmingham, AL; one step-grandchild, Lucy Greer, Birmingham, AL; her special cousin and friend, Rickey Dunnam, Irvington; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and many friends.Services will be held at 12p.m, Thursday, June 19, at Pine Springs Baptist Church in Irvington. Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre. The family will receive friends from 10-12, Thursday at Pine Springs Baptist Church, Irvington. Bro.
