Joseph Samuel Tompkins, age 81, a native of Michigan and a longtime resident of Theodore, AL passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014. He is survived by his children, Kathryn (Billy) Brockwell, Roxie (Joel) Mcumber, Erwin Tompkins, Gary Tompkins, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Memorial service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2 pm with visitation starting from 12 noon until service time.
