Joseph Woodson Lewis' Obituary
The sixth of 7 children, born to Rosalie and John Lewis. Joe went to join our Heavenly Father and reunite with our mother, father, brothers and sisters who have gone on before him. Joe was born and raised in Mobile. He retired from Ingalls Ship Builders. A 32nd degree Mason, and a member of Church of The Good Shepard. Joe worked as a State Constable for many years providing his services to all who needed. He loved servicing his community and helping his neighbors. He will be sadly missed by his two remaining sisters, Dorothy Palmer and Bonnie Howell, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 11am until 2 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
