Joseph MICHAEL Hunter's Obituary
PERRY- Joseph MICHAEL Hunter, 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He will be laid to rest in Oakhill Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida, with his family. All services are private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Kindred Hospice, 319 Margie Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Michael was dependent on his family all of his life, as God marked him a special child at birth. Having lived in various housing facilities and homes through the years, Michael made many special friends who loved and cared for him. He loved watching and reading about Batman, watching and listening to Elvis, and reading. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was his favorite book, and he read it many times. Michael was a kind person and had a stress-free life, as was indicated by his excellent health most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Bradford Hunter; his mother, Patricia Joann Childs Hunter Hammond; and his brother, Larry Hunter. He is survived by his loving and devoted sister, Cathy Myers of Perry, and several nieces and nephews. Michael was also greatly loved by the Walling Family in Spencer, Tennessee.
