Joseph William “Joe” Albright, 85, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, Georgia, with Reverend Leland Collins and Reverend Grant Abernathy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully but strongly requests giving to others in need.
Joe was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the U. S. Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. Upon retirement, Joe accepted a position with Zantop International Airlines in Macon, Georgia, where he continued working and eventually retired after 30 years of faithful employment. He was a devout Christian and a member of Crossroads Methodist Church in Perry, Georgia.
Joe was predeceased by his parents; his brother; his sister; one nephew; one niece; one adopted daughter; and one stepdaughter.
Joe leaves behind his wife of 50 years; one daughter; one stepdaughter; and one brother.
