John Howard Speed's Obituary
John Howard Speed, age 73, passed away February 11, 2016. John was an Army National Guard Veteran and worked as a truck driver and was the accomplished business owner of Mylines Inc. with his wife, Marjorie Colp Speed. He was known for his love of fishing and was said to have never met a stranger with his outgoing, social personality. He was the son of Hazel Campbell and Lawrence Speed, brother to Helen (Ray) Daley, Keith (Patricia) Speed, Sherry (Howard), Larry (Charley Sue) Speed, father to Michael Speed, Kevin Speed, Jeffrey Speed, Troy Speed, Tammy, Pamela, Victoria, Steven, Louis, and an uncle, grandfather, and friend to countless others. Services will be Monday, February 15, 2016 at Serenity Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00pm – 2:00pm, followed by a graveside service in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
