John Mark Hunt, 56, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be private. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2014, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.
John was born in Lakeland, Florida. He moved to Middle Georgia in 1985. He was the owner of John's Auto Glass and had been a Glass Glazier for 36 years. John enjoyed volunteering as a softball coach at the recreation department in Perry as well as playing softball and baseball through the years. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Richardson, and his father, Carl Edward Stengel.
Left to cherish the memories of John are his loving wife of 25 years, Mimi Hunt of Perry; his chldren, M.J. Hunt (Tori) of Memphis, TN and Carl Hunt of Perry; his granddaughter, Kodie Grey Hunt; his mother, Pansy R. Stengel of Lakeland, FL; his siblings, Donnie Hunt (Carol) of Haynesville, Sheila Melvin (Eddie) of Byron, Patty Hunt of Lakeland, FL, Casey Marino (Ron) of Hurricane Mill, TN, Cathy Kruger (Norman) of Jackson, Tom Stengel (Susan) of Draper, UT, Corrinne Carlos (James) of Gainesville, FL, Debbie Meinke (Jim) of Lakeland, FL, Randy Hunt of Lakeland, FL, Charles Hunt of Haines City, FL, and Michael Hunt (Mary) of Lake City, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
